Without your password nobody, not even anyone at Dropvault, can access your data. Each vault has a unique 256 bit encryption key which is used to encrypt your keys and documents. This key is then itself encrypted and secured so that only your valid password can extract it again.
Sharing for redundancy
Your keys are valuable and securing them with your single password is always a risk. What if you lose or forget your password - your keys can never be retrieved and are lost.
To protect against this our vaults are multi-user. You can simply add in additional team members and give them access to your vault. Each user has their own password and so have access to the encryption key.
Multiple vaults
For added security and privacy create multiple vaults and spread your keys across these vaults. Each vault has a unique encryption key, pass phrase and access management.
Add Biometrics
Want even more security? You can add Anonybit biometric authentication to any channel or vault as an additional security option. We will request a team member use their phones camera to authenticate before granting access to any channel.
