Receive your invoices over secure channels and prevent invoice/wire fraud
BEC fraud has increased from $1.8B to $2.4B in less than 2 years and is not slowing down - despite improvements in email security, extensive staff training and new business processes. Time for a change in how we prevent this fraud.
Business email compromise (BEC) is a security exploit in which the attacker targets an employee who has access to company funds and convinces the victim to transfer money into a bank account controlled by the attacker.
The attacks happen when email is compromised and a fake email with the invoice instructions or changing bank account details is sent to someone in control of the funds.
Some defenses require custom email servers installed and use AI or machine learning to identify and remove fraudulent incoming emails. We have a better solution - if email is the problem with BEC then remove email from the process.
Ask your supplier to get their business onto Dropvault (a free trial is all they need) and add at least one team member from their team. You then create a new secure B2B channel and use the email address of the supplier - That's it. You now have a secure channel between your business and the supplier. Your supplier adds a new message with the invoice into the channel and you will receive a notification and email is never used.
You can also connect your invoicing system to your channel but we always verify and authenticate the sender

Unlike email, Dropvault authenticates and verifies the identity of every user. This prevents impersonation and ensures that any team member from the supplier or your business is fully authenticated.
With our BEC channels, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is not an option but a requirement. In addition users can enable biometric authentication for additional security
Once an invoice is added to a channel it is encrypted and stored. This ensures the data in the invoice is not only private but also can not be changed or modified.
PDF documents can also be watermarked and password protected for additional security with the watermark of the supplier
Our channels are bi-directional and conversational. Either side can comment and reply to any invoice, discuss and clarify.
Conversational channels ensure that email never has to be used and so the conversations remain private and secure.
Add other team members from your payments team (customer or supplier) and use our great features to manage your invoice process -
We have a great task manager, reminders, calendar and much more so your team can stay in the channel and process the invoice securely.
Your business can connect with as many suppliers as needed and each will have a secure channel (like an Inbox) for managing their invoices.
Your suppliers also only need one account on Dropvault (a free trial will do) to connect with all their customers and upload invoices.
Your invoices can be emailed directly from your suppliers invoicing app (Zoho,Xero, Stripe etc) into the channel. We authenticate the sender by checking the DKIM, SPF and sender before encrypting and adding the invoice to your channel
Never forget to follow up on an invoice with our reminders feature - Add a reminder for you or for any other team member or add the payment date to your team calendar.

Need to protect your sensitive documents from ransomware attacks or limit access to these documents so that they cannot be easily browsed and opened?
We place a hyper-secure portal as a bridge between your users and your documents and this portal manages your access and auditing access. The documents can be placed on storage that none your staff have access to and the portal manages your access to these documents.
The document store can be encrypted or un-encrypted. If you have an existing document collection already in place we can connect to it and populate your Dropvault document vault with your existing documents. Dropvault then acts as a hyper-secure bridge to your documents.
